One of my best girlfriends came down from Indiana to firm up some of her wedding details (including what cupcakes flavors she will use at her reception). My little adopt-O-sis graduated and is heading off to law school soon. Another of my lovlies recently graduated, went to China to teach, and just got back into town (and I thought I was busy). I spent some great time with everyone and in the process I got to throw a cupcake tasting party, don't you feel sorry me?
We got the wedding party/helpers/graduates together to help make some decisions. I had many willing volunteers.
I called upon my gal Brittany at Kupcake Killer who whipped us up a few batches of the yummiest, most darling cupcakes. She is so creative and easy to work with. We just love her.
I bought everything for the party- linens, tea service, plates, cups, saucers, champaigne glassware, tea cups etc... all for under $30 at local thrift shops. I made sure that nothing matched and the stores really appreciated getting rid of their odd pieces.
